About Me

Right now I'm only looking for the PS3 games on my want list. Most, if not all, of my games are locked but up for trade so just ask. Thanks...

Everyone we need to start trading for points. Ps3, xbox360, wii games if you have any unlocked trade them for points not game for game this website was made to trade games for points and if we all do it it will be much easier to get your games you want watch out for scammers (low swapscore and bad feedback) denie any game for game trades and lets get this website running back to normal and visit the chat room once in awhile pass the word.....Thanks

Assassin's Creed

Redundant at best on March 12, 2008

Initially, I really got into this game. I'm currently renting it through my gamefly membership and I was actually considering buying it. That is, until about the 4th time I ended up falling off the map. Yes, the game is visually stunning and Yes, the story line is easy to get immersed in. But if I have to sit there and either want for myself to die or just restart the ENTIRE MAP (Where is the option to manually restart from last checkpoint. Oh wait... it's not there!) every time I fall off the map because I jumped from one building to the next and caught the ledge wrong... I'll throw this game at my neighbor's dog. Also, I wish there was a way to fast forward through some... better yet... ALL of the cinematic sequences. Think about it... if you meet up with an informant and screw up the first go round, do you really want to go back to him and hear his blather just to start the mission over again?

Oh and by the way, I've seen and played this game on Xbox 360 and again, this is yet another game that displays and outlines the shortcomings of the PS3 by comparison. I know the format war was won by the Sony camp but still... they need to get their sh*t in gear and start putting out games that actually utilize the power and graphical processing prowess the PS3 has to offer. Notice that Altaïr's long flowing cape is basically going straight through anything he's perched upon?? Next time you play this game and get up to a viewpoint, watch how in the cut scene his clothes are hanging down poking through the platform you're perched upon.

It's little crap like this that lets me know the PS3 still isn't ready for prime time. This game was a nice try and good direction but the method and properties of delivering it to the user might have needed a little more thought before release.
