Alright, the graphics of the game are awesome, maps are awesome, vehicles are awesome. There is only one thing i dont like about the game, its not split screen. I have heard rumors about they are going to release a patch to allow the split screen (since its online multiplayer up to 12 people!). I cant wait till then.

I will give the game a 5 because it is that awesome, i wish i had a HD TV to let its true colors show but until then i get to play on my little joey.

NOW I ANT HAVIN THIS !!!!
i own every game for the PS3 apart from 4 and this is verry close to been the worst game i have played on the PS3 up to now,
graphics are the same through out the game absolutley nothing to be impressed by all rocks and cliffs look the same, so now sadley moving onto the car and bike side of this game, very poor as i completed moto gp 06 twice that is how a bike should ride NOT like these bikes that are like riding a bike fresh from gta vice city on PS2, and the cars what can you say again poor for a next gen console - lets all just face it this game is just trying to be dakkar rally and not been able to do it, and even since the game is soooooo poor they didnt even bother putting a multi-player option, so without multi-player this game is one of the most pointless, waste of time and money i have made to date.

This game is truely amazing. the graphics are so real. i suggest getting this game if you dont have it yet. im going to buy a PS3 now because of this game and all the other racing games out for it. i played this game at a friends house and i loved it. How much are games for the PS3? can anyone tell me please. Thanks. Truely, get this gmae if you have a PS3 but dont have this game. One problem with it though. the Motorcycles control like you have super traction or something. Odd. Good game, 5 out of 5.

After downloading the free demo from the Playstation store, I'm sure everyone wanted to buy this game when it came out. I was no different. I was a little disappointed. Even though the graphics are awesome and the controls smooth, I still feel that they left some good stuff on the table. More night races with working headlights(at least until you smashed them) would have been great. I agree with most gamers complaint about the lack of a split screen offline multiplayer game. This game is better off being rented rather than bought. If you bought it, once you finish it, play other games and then come back to it. You'll be amazed again.

Great Game

The wrecks in the game are amusing, great online play, its just to sweet to boost passed your opponent, or wreck them to take the win. It would've been better if we had more tracks to choose from. With content packs coming we'll be getting more cars and tracks

this is a fun game to play and you need to find the fastest route for each vehicle one way might not be the right way for another. continue to boost but cool down on the last stretch so you can boost past the finish. DRIVING THROUGH THE MUD IS COOL ALSO. ONLINE PLAY IS COOL TO RACE AGAINST FRIENDS BUT I HEARD THERE ARE GLITCH'S I THINK IT IS PRETTY COOL ALL GAMES THAT FIRST COME OUT ARE NOT HTE BEST PS2 GAMES THAT FIRST CAMES OUT WERE NOT THAT GREAT EITHER THEN THEY GOT AWESOME I THINK BY THE END OF THE YEAR THERE WILL BE A BUNCH OF AWESOME GAMES OUT.

i think this is a pretty fun game all in all. Gameplay: i really like the total destruction part, its really fun when there is explosions no matter which end your on. (suicides are really fun and can help you win too!) the actual racing part isnt as good as it couldve been. The vast superiority very large vehicles have over everything else is kinda cheap, because once you learn how to control them, you can just crush basically anything in your way. It is pretty challenging on some of the courses. I liked the fact that it was always crowded and that you had do weave or fight your way to first place. the mud constantly getting on the screen was a real annoyance though, there was really no point for that. the graphics were amazing but there was nothing to see with them, i mean you might as well make it terrible graphics. every single track and every single inch of them all looked exactly the same! that was really annoying. i probably wouldve given it 5 stars if there was a splitscreen so i ocul d play with my brother. we like to just mess around and crash into each other and commit suicide. now putting all those factors into the equation its was a pretty lousey game.

MotorStorm, from Evolution Studios and SCEA, is a hardcore racing romp across a fictional Monument Valley. Mud, truck parts, and drivers all will fly when you open up the throttle and motor through the chaos. This racer focuses on delivering the highest quality graphics and frustratingly difficult A.I. The craftsmanship that went into the title is apparent throughout the game. Racing fans start your engines! MotorStorm will transport you to an exhilarating world of off-road adventure.

The opening intro sets the tone for this gorgeous racer. The CG trailer has you gliding around the ancient rocks of a parallel Utah, following the dusty rooster tails of far-off vehicles, and then swooping in close to witness a muddy, visceral off-road competition. The voiceover work here is great and you will feel as if you were watching the trailer for a summer blockbuster. The game's story is based on a festival where racing fanatics congregate annually to listen to alternative rock and watch an unsanctioned off-road world championship. Take up the challenge and try to become the festival's champion by accumulating enough points across the various stages to be crowned the king of the mud and dust.

I Hate Big Rigs

This game is great. Its a mud racing game like no other. The visuals in the game are amazing. Even with out the in game XMB that we have all been waiting for, the sound track rocks. There are only a few tracks to choose from but there are so many ways and routes to compleate a track that you forget all about it. Every race is an rush from start to finish. This game runs so smoothly that I dont care about the lack of game modes. There are add-ons on the PSN however that can remedy this if the main game is not enough for you.There is also online mode, where you can choose a track and vehical in any combination, for those of you who are tired of getting sent flying through the air by an angry big rig on Coyote. I rate this game at a solid 9/10 because I fell off the couch trying to duck under a truck flying over my head as I raced to the canyon for safety

great racing game

this a great game for the ps3. it provides hours of entertainment and a challenge to. you can race every thing from a dirt bike to a semi, in the same race. the explosions are also pretty cool in this game, and they happen a lot. the graphics in this game are also incredible but its also kinda frustrating at times when your blowing up left right and center, and you go from being in first by 10 seconds to dead last in an instant. the only other fault of this game is not multiplayer racing except online. otherwise great game

There is a reason that this game came with the PS3 80 Gb. The graphics in the opening cutscene are IDENTICAL to real life videos. I actually thought they were real videos until it went over the mountaintop and showed this giant fruity city that they call, MotorStorm. The pre-rendered graphics are insane, and the actual gameplay is almost as good. The performance is very realistic, and with so many vehicles, it's pretty hard to say anything negative about this game. Although, I did come up with one thing. The motorcycles are a little bit hard to control, but you get used to it.

OVERALL: 9.9/10

This game is close to being 'excellent'. Great graphix, great sound, vehicle handling is quite impressive. And the 'boost' feature can come in handy on those competative situations. Vehicle classes range from dirt bikes to big riggs! So everyone finds a favorite. I was personally blown away by the detail in the 'Trucks' specifically the 'Springbok Kalahari' (almost identical to the "Trophy Truck" class found in the SCORE Off Road Racing series). The visual, handling and even sound of this particular "racing truck" is very ralistic! The "Truggy" (half truck, half buggy, also found in the SCORE series) and "Baja Bug" (on steroids) are also part of the vehicle arsenal.

One thing lacking is the "multiplayer" split screen mode. Although, you can race against 11 other gamers (on-line). You won't be racing your buddy when he/she comes visit.

I hear this feature will be included in "MotorStorm 2"...
One can hope. All in all, a great game!

Motor storm is about one of the funnest arcade games ive played in along time.there is plenty of cars, trucks, bikes, and atv's for you to play as. Another thing that i found was fun was just racing the bikes and atv's and playing it like the classic game Road Rage while racing you can punch the other racers of there bikes.The graphics are really good, the sound is good and is just an all out fun game to play online or offline.
