Game Description
Originally conceived as the Nintendo 64 title Young Olympians before moving to the PlayStation 2 under a new name, this self-titled Greek mythology-inspired action/adventure from Saffire Corporation follows five different heroes with unique powers and abilities. Boasting a story written by renowned author David Wolverton and a special fighting-oriented combat system, Saffire also features a mission-based design structure that's made complete by destructible environments, two-player cooperative gameplay, and a multitude of thought-provoking puzzles. Sadly, development on Saffire was eventually halted for reasons that are still unknown to this day; though several bits of the game's technology were later used for another one of Saffire's fighting game projects known as Barbarian.
