When I had it. I sold it so I can buy the Nintendo Wii, But It was the second best FPS game I ever played. :-)

Great FPS Shooter game. The action is intense and tons of fun. You can swap between the men on your team, so you are the entire "TEAM". Not only can you fight battles on foot but there are various vehicles to use such as helicopters, hummers, tanks, boats, etc... There are certain specifics that your team has at times, such as snipers, assault, medical, etc.

The controls are easy to use and show you how to use them while playing. The missions are pretty much different as you go along, so there’s always something new to do while trying to accomplish them.

If you have the Ethernet Adapter for the PS2, then you have to try the online multiplayer. Best multiplayer experience ever. Like I said, it’s intense and the multiplayer doesn’t fail to show its action. The multiplayer’s controls are the same as well, so there isn’t much of a difference between multiplayer and single player, except you cannot swap. Other than that, great game overall.

im not a very good fan of single player shooting but the online for bf2 was amazing i play every day and it fun every time i play. this game i recommend to all. the solid multiplayer onine mode takes a 5/5 from me.

battlefield 2

this is a run and gun game. normally i wouldnt think to much of these but this one although still a little to fast paced for my liking was still a very good game. i think it could have had a better variety of weapons and a few more vehicles to choose from and maybe the ability to choose weapons but with the game play that wasnt to big of a deal. the replay value of this game isnt very high but with its online play its a fun game to keep and just use for online play. so this game gets a 4 out of 5.

It seems a little strange that Battlefield 2: Modern Combat should have the "2" in the title, given that this is the first Battlefield game to make an appearance on consoles. The game also, unfortunately, bears little resemblance to its superb namesake on the PC. While Modern Combat does offer some amount of charm with its highly produced interludes and its slick unit-switching mechanism, ultimately this multiplayer-focused military shooter falls short of its promise with design flaws in its campaign and clunky vehicle handling.

Now in no comparison is this game anything like its PC counter part, and that's what I think is so great about it. Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a very fast pased FPS that will just about always keep you on the edge of your seat, and thats just in singleplayer. The online play is pretty sweet, gives you more of a challege I think if your getting bored with the singleplayer.
