The orange box, a picture of perfection in a world of mediocre games. I love Half life, I have played it and I've watched it being played, I love half life! I started playing portal and well its an amazing game although sometimes the computer voice gets on my nerves. My boyfriend actually beat this game and the last level was like whoa. Getting crushed, burnt, gun down and poisoned to death takes a lot out of you. By the way THE CAKE IS REAL. Beat it you'll see.
I never got a chance to play team fortress but as soon as I purchase this game and a gold membership (LOOK OUT WORLD HERE I COME!) This is worth all the points and the money... 5 games..One disc. GET IT.
Great graphics, great gameplay, great games. What more do you need?
Best Value Ever!

For once a $60 game that takes longer than 8 hours to beat! Not only is this game disk filled with longevity but also with nonstop thrills and not to mention laugh out loud moments from Portal. Portal must be the funniest game ever made from the sarcastic computer named Glados that feels as if were pulled straight from 2001: A Space Odyssey to the best credit song ever created it just screams originality. It is just a great breth of fresh air from all the military FPS's these days. The Orange Box is worth purchasing just for Portal alone but the other games are dissapointing either.
Wow was what came out of my mouth the first time I saw Alyx in Half Life 2, her emotions were amazing she winks, smiles, and even laughs at you in ways I thought were impossible. She is the first charecter in a videogame that I have ever actually cared about. This is an amazing achievment alone but the shooting action is well paced with barely any backtraking (Halo) and a great storyline that keeps you coming back just proves why it has recieved just so many game of the year awards.
The episodes are each great with Episode 2 taking the crown. It paces the game even better than the original and adds a ton more story into the game. And the new physics animations of buildings being blown up are a sight to see. While each only last about 5 hours they are fun the whole time and never have a boring moment.
If your tired of kids singing and cursing into the mic while playing Halo than meet your new best friend Team Fortress 2. It is garnished with a simplistic but beautiful Pixar like graphic style. There are 9 classes to choose from each with distinct wepons and abilities. While there may only be 6 maps each is constructed to the greatest detail.
Go run out of your house now and go purchase The Orange Box before Valve figures out they could be charging twice as much for all the enjoyment in this box.
Best Deal, But Not Best Game
Music: 5/10 (Portal's last level manages to raise the score up to a five)
Graphics: 10/10 (As a wise hobo once said, "Nice Pics, Yo")
Gameplay: 6/10 (Can be confusing at times)
Controls: 10/10 (Easy to use)
Sound: 10/10 (Perfect matches to movement and such)
Overall: 4/5 or 8/10
Great Game

For only 60$ to have 5 games is not bad, Exspecially when they are all addicting, They do lack one thing though that is xbox live. The only game you can actually play on there is Team Fortress 2, Although its a good game. Half Life 2 team deathmatch is also a fun game and I think should have been included in the orange box other then that great buy.
Beast game

This is one of the best deals and games i have played ever. I mostly play team fortress which I like as much as high preferred games like halo and call of duty. If you want a fun game to screw around in and to have fun, pick this game. 5 games for 60$ is a deal last time i checked.
PORTAL + Team Fortress make this a must own

I had never played Half Life 2 before purchasing The Orange Box but had previously played Half Life but was not to impressed by it, I had purchased it for Counter Strike anyways. This is again the same situation for me, I am not a big fan of Half Life 2, its good but the AI is weak compared to games of today, you can see that the game has aged. It looks great, plays great, just getting a bit old. Anyways while I was not impressed by Half Life 2, PORTAL more then made up for it. Portal is one of the most amazing games I have played in years, the concept behind it is awesome, the story is fun, its just a great experience. The other up side to this game is Team Fortress 2 which is one of those games you can just jump into online and have a godo time without everyone being all serious. The players are just in the game chatting and enjoying it unlike many in some other Xbox LIve games. So for $60 you are getting Portal, Team Fortress, Half Life 2 + episode 1 and 2, its really a great deal for $60 but at many stores you can find it cheaper at this point I picked mine up for $48. : )

You begin under mysterious circumstances, working your way through puzzles and obstacles for clues to what is really going on. While the graphics and gameplay are lovely, the best part is the voice the compells you through the game. This game is challenging, fun and emotionally compelling! :) One of the best games I've ever played <3<3<3
A must buy for any 360 owner.

This game, or should I say games, are simply amazing. It includes Half-life 2, Half-life 2 episode 1, Half-life 2 episode 2, Portal, and one of the most amazing shooters to be released, Team Fortress 2 all for the price of one 360 game. If you have not played Half-life 2 yet, then that is already a reason to get this. I would say it is one of the greatest games ever made. Portal is a great puzzle game. One of the best. I have found that there are many different ways to complete a level, and the challenges that are unlocked after completion of the game add even more gameplay time. There you have it. 3 of the best games ever made all rolled into one disc. You'd be crazy not to own The Orange Box!
