I think this game is great for GTA lovers. The graphics on this are amazing but at times can be on the bad side. For example when driving at high speeds. You may not be able to drive boats of fly planes but the cars with getting expansions for your cars make up for it. Also the third person view is great because you can customize you person to how you see fit and can be stunned at how you can make your character look good. The weapons are very diverse from the rpg to a simple baseball bat. The explosions in the game are realistic and the fires on the car look as if the car was acctually on fire. You can never get bored doing all of the activities such as the hitman activities which take hours too do. There is much to find in the game such as all the shops, cd's, tags, and missions. This game is for anyone who loves to run around killing people and shooting down hellicopters, and making trains go sliding onto oncoming traffic. This game can't go wrong with a gamer.

This game gets my highest score 10 out of 10 its just that good. This game is awesome when it comes to the graphics and sound the graphics engine is complete clear and concise to me that is, other gamers may not share my opinion but who gives a damn. When i play games i look at the details and other insignificant things that other people just shrug off as nothing, like the street and the little posters and the cars well they speak for themselves. The cars in this game are pretty sweet and can be saved in your garage and can also be tricked out to your special taste of style. After you beat this game theres still alot of shit you can do like the hitman missions(these are kind of difficult), me personally i havent beat all the hitman missions yet but im almost there, but like i said theres alot to do like rob stores, smoke a blunt, drink, smoke a bong, buy clothes, customize your character(only in the beginning of the game is this possible), and so much more and this is where i leave you this game is a must have. 10 out of 10.

This is, quite possibly, the sickest game ever made for any system, bar none. It's Grand Theft Atuo to the next degree, with better graphics, a better story line, a better playing area, more features, more weapons. This game just has it all! Tune up your car and make it your own, and you can fully customize your character. Even the RPG geeks would love this! I have but one complaint that I'd like to see added.....let me pick-up a prostitute.....LOL

This game is awsome, and is similar to Grand Theft Auto. It provides a great story line, has insanley awsomely great grahpics, and gameplay is so much fun. I would definately recommend this game to any Grand Theft Auto fan, because this is one of the best 3rd person shooters out (until Grand Theft Auto IV, which I plan on getting for Xbox 360 and PS3). Whoever has an Xbox 360, I suggest you add this game to the collection.

This games is great for you if you are into gta! I think gta is better than this game. On this game all you really do is missons and drive around. On gta you can drive car, planes, helocopters which is alot better. This is not the greatest game ive ever played but its not bad. You can create your own person on this game unlike gta. Gta you have to be whatever person they make you be so that is a plus. You also can get cars and take the to the shop called rim jobs and you can pimp out your ride. You also can buy drugs and beer to drink and i think its great because if you do drugs on the game your screen gets all fuzy so it like you are doing them. Like i said if you are looking for a game that is better than gta keep looking because this is not it sorry!!!!

Under threat from rival gangs and corrupt officials, the 3rd Street Saints must conquer the city of Stilwater or face destruction. From the spectacular opening battle to regain control of the local hood, Saints Row offers the freedom to explore StilWater, a living, breathing city. Players are free to engage in the multitude of different activates at their leisure, all while building up respect in a gameplay-rich world. Build enough respect and the 3rd Street Saint's lieutenants will trust the player with more dangerous missions.

If you're a fan of Grand Theft Auto, then you should definitely check out Saints Row. This GTA style game features the gang attacks, carjacking and other mature fun that can be played for months.

Let me first make it clear that this was never intended to be a game for kids. There is a TON of hard core swearing, and it is pretty much constant. Even walking the streets gets you baragged with swearing. Your missions involve driving prostitutes around and listening to them "at work", helping drug dealers make their rounds, bashing up gang members in very violent ways, and so on. This is very clearly aimed towards a mature market, the kind that loves to watch The Sopranos and Scarface.

That being said, Saint's Row provides extremely fun escapist fantasy for those who enjoy those worlds. The graphics quality is extremely impressive. You get day-night cycles, and the sunset with the twinkling stars is gorgeous. Each area of your city has its own personality. You can really enjoy walking along the chinatown waterfront in the early morning. The cars have fun touches like spinning wheel add-ons.

Many things that were annoying about the Grand Theft Auto series are fixed here. I like the aiming system much better, I like how it saves and how it handles death in missions. Most of the minigames are quite fun and ramp up in difficulty at a reasonable rate. For example you can - right from the start - do a ton of "Insurance Fraud" missions and get just about as much money as you could possibly want, and respect as well.

Even the basic character customization is impressive. You can be caucasian, African-American, hispanic, or asian - with a lot of details on each type. Yes, you can only be a guy. Someday they'll let girls into these games, in a way other than a prostitute! The hair, tattoo, body piercings, clothing, etc. choices are pretty impressive.

The voice acting is stellar. You get David Carradine, Keith David, Michael Clarke Duncan, Tia Carrere, and much more. It really helps you to get involved in the storyline. The story is sometimes predictable, but heck, this is a gang story. Of course you know that your gang will gain power while you defeat the others. It wouldn't be much of a game if your gang was destroyed quickly :)

There are of course a few things they could have done better. There aren't motorcycles. There are a few strange glitches - like when you're hit by a car sometimes and fly up, it teleports you to a train station. The game has frozen once or twice but it seems to be after full-day gaming marathons, so it could easily be the XBox having a temporary meltdown. The cars don't seem to be affected much by damage.

In general, this is amazingly fun to play, the world is simply fun to "be in" with its graphics and details, and there are always new things to do.

this game is so awesome i will definetaly buy saints row 2 in 2008 when it comes out also this games has awesome xbox live features such as awesome mini games and u can join a gang in xbox live (a virtaul one of course) so i would highly reccomend buying this game u can get it used for like $15 and tons of people stillo play xbox live on the game still even though its not that new of a game its ot like ur buying last years version of madden it is still fun and has some awesome glitches in xbox live that makes xbox live on this game 100x better

Best Gang Game Out There!

Saints Row is THE greatest gang game out there! If you like the GTA series, you are going to definatly love this game. You can create your own character, do a whole bunch of different missions, and do whatever you want to do basically. You can take people hostage in the cars and if you travel at a high speed you can maybe fly out of your windshield! It's a great game. The only bad parts about this game are the glitches. But next year, Saints Row 2 is comming out and DEFINATLY buy that game!! This game is like $20 at GameStop and it's totally worth it!! Definatly buy it, I'm telling you right now. It's wayyyy better than GTA but it also depends on the person too. I dont know, i personally like this game wayyy better. I totally reccomend this game to anyone, but if 13 year olds and younger play it, you might wanna watch them because it does have some "bad stuff" but its still a great game. BUY IT NOW!!!

I received this game from Say Swap as my first game. I must say that I was very impressed with it. I've been a fan of the GTA series for a long time. This game is very similar but adds some new twists to that type of game.

First, you got homies that you can call on or pick up from the street. These homies help you out when you're out on missions, driving around, causing mayhem, etc...

Next, you got all the clothing options to choose from. You can change your shirts, pants, belts, jewelry, jackets, shoes, tattoos, etc... Making the character your own was quite a treat!

Quite decent for what it offers.

I got this game when i first got my 360.
I thought it was fun, joining gangs online, having fun, but when you play it single player its when it turns quite repetitive and it turns pretty much into an endless game...
you can run and run and run, and i do agree its like GTA with several twists since you don't have a predetermined character to use.

Saints Row Hands-On Review

On December 24, 2006 at 8 oclock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead. Doctors couldnt come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened. Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didnt repost a chain letter about a little girl that kills you in your sleep with no natrual cause of death.

Saints Row Hands-On Review

With all the buzz surrounding the Xbox 360 it’s no surprise we are finally get a lot of hands on time with many of the upcoming titles from various developers. Last week while taking part in a press event for THQ, we got another close look at Saint’s Row, developed by Volition. It’s all out gang war as rivals battle it out on the mean streets for control over the city. Saint’s Row is certainly not a game for the younger audiences and THQ knows it, but Volition hopes to offer gamers something more interesting and interactive than the likes of Grand Theft Auto beyond sheer violence and shock value.

Players will create their own unique member of the 3rd Street Saints crew and work their way through the gang’s rankings as they carry out various tasks. The game takes place in the fictional city of Southern Cross, known as the Gateway to the Rust Belt. We did notice a few buildings within the cityscape that resembled some of the well known structures in the city of Chicago, such as the John Hancock building, which makes sense being that Volition is based in the Windy City. Southern Cross is a living, breathing metropolis designed using the Havok engine that allows for much of the game’s complex interactions to take place. For example, members of either of the two rival gangs may attack at anytime without warning depending on the current situation at hand. This will cause players to have to react quick as they retaliate and call their own gang members for assistance if necessary. Saint’s Row is all about establishing and strengthening the connections a player’s gang has within the city to overpower and outmuscle the opposition. This will mean players will have the responsibility of creating their character and making decisions that will affect their gang’s success at doing so.

For example, we were able to stroll into a convenient store and pick up a few items. One option would be to pay for these items and walk out without causing any commotion or drawing attention to you, or the other would be to steal the items, which could alert the cops as well as tick off the clerk behind the counter. While you’re at it why not rob the clerk at gunpoint and make off with the goods and all the cash in the drawer? Of course this is sure to have more than a few cops on the scene in no time, but if you can get away your crew will have a nice chunk of much needed cash while making a name for themselves in that area of town. On the other hand, why not wait until nightfall and bust in for a more thorough robbery that might pay off larger with less chance of being caught? These are just some of the kinds of situations players will be able to encounter that will force them to make decisions that will determine the game’s progression.

Wrath of God

Alright this is a supposed cheat that you enter in the cell phone as, #10. it unlocks "Wrath of God" which enables lightning to randomly strike pedestrians.... now its an actual cheat that pops up but has anyone seen it? I have used this cheat over and over with no results. if anyone gets this to work please post how to use it.

Ok lets start with saying this game is not worth the points i got it for 29 bux at futureshop. In saints row you start off by making your own character which you have never gotten to do in gta titles and also once you get going this game picks up pace theres lots of shops to go to including liquor stores gun shops car shope banks and even theatres to watch previous cutscenes. If buying stuff aint your game then just start a hold up this game is very diffucult for gamerscore but if your looking for a fun game to play then pick this one up

personally i love this game this game might have done what none other can do which is pretty sweety by the way like the repair your car from your crib. the armored trucks actually have money in them. even the little thing in the game make a big difference like the freckle b****s drive-thru and purchesing food with no load time sure the food cost is a little steep but it also come down to the pimp cane walk like one be like one get your posse and take ove still water. this is my kind of game

Alot of people think that this is just a copycat of Grand theft auto, but does that really matter? No. Because it's a fun game and THAT is what matters. Fun is what matters not origniality. There is alot of things that will keep you busy in this game. Need some cash? Ride shotgun with a drug dealer, do alittle street raceing, commit insurance fraude, or compete in the destruction derby. You can buy cars and have them custimized. Create your character, You can be black, white, asian, or hispanic.. The character creation gets VERY detailed. The story is awsome. Like the song that you hear on your car radio go to the music store and buy it for your mp3 player.
