This game is terrible...

The graphics are ok, but the playability is terrible. Unless you are a Nascar crew chie and know all the ins and outs of fine tuning a race car, forget about it. I've playedevery Nascar game ever made, and still could not set-up my car to turn, not even at Talladega, whch is one of the easiest circuits on any racing game. All in all, I give it three thumbs down, not even two, I'm borrowing a thumb to rate this one. What a terrible tragedy that they took one of the greatest games made for any system and successfully destroyed it.......FREAKKKK

I really liked nascar 06 and 07 and was hoping for some of the same ability to learn but in this one the learning curve seems to be way out there. I have no problem with racing to aquire cars and licenses but you get no option to fine tune the cars before you race in there unless you want to dive into the pits on lap 1. Nevermind how ridiculously easy the "car of tomorrow" will catch air and roll over. If the car drives like in real life it's a death trap! Takes the fun out of the game when you have to achieve a certain finishing position but if you bump a few cars your getting the black flag. On a road course you can't not bump cars around to get to the front. Unless you like rolling cars or are REALLY good at catch the learning curve I'd avoid this game. I like it barely enough to play, just glad I rented instead of buying it first.

this game is actually hard having black flags and being able to flip on a dime like at martinsville if you turn to hard out of the corner you flip some say it suck but i laugh everytime but what is a real challenge is actually being able to race in carrer you have to get your license then race all the tracks in the contract but i love a good challenging racing game like this !_!

c'mon now give me a break with all the black flags. yes thats right black flags have introduced in last years nascar 08 but thats not all now there are tracks like martinville that u can flip in an instant if you take the corner to fast but unlike the PS2 version it flat out sucks so yeah i like this game alot i'm a NASCAR fan and i give it five Dale Jr's out of five
