Enemy Terriotory Quake Wars

Reviewed by sn1pe_warman on June 16, 2008  |  report this review

I first rented this game because I saw the vids and it looked pretty fun. I came to realize that you will only be entertained for a few hours. The campaign is very fun at first but then you start to realize that they do the same thing everytime. (The bots that is). I loved it for a quick nab of 200 gamer score but other than that its mediocre.
Whats that you say? The campaign is suppose to be bad? Yes, I know its all about multi-player. My experience with multi-player was very poor. It took forever to find a match and when I got there it was almost empty we have 6 guys total. When the match started it was filled with bots who only made things worse. The worst part about the whole experience was the lag! It was everywhere when I aimed at a human player the would slide around without moving their legs and then I would end up getting killed by their bot friends while I was trying to waste him. I never had any connection problems with Cod4, Gears of War, or Halo 3 so it has to be the way they did things. I word to the wise unless you have a T3 connection stay away from purchasing this game.

Defending the objective

Hint by sn1pe_warman on June 16, 2008  |  report this hint

The best thing to do when defending the objective is to plant proximity mines. Plant them around all entrances and on the objective itself. After thats done it should take care of anyone that escapes your blaster fire. Once you have nabbed your free kill head back to the spot they are entering in the most and re-plant, kill, repeat. :)
